The Bluetooth times out after five minutes and the LED on the device stops blinking blue. In most cases, this happens if you insert the batteries in the detector before downloading the Resideo app.
By the time you reach the step to pair the water leak detector with your smart phone or tablet, more than five minutes may have elapsed and the detector will have stopped blinking blue. If this happens, take out all batteries from the device, wait for one minute and re-insert the batteries.
Inserting the batteries will re-trigger the Bluetooth and the LED will begin blinking blue. You can proceed with the installation steps detailed in the Quick Start Guide or follow the step-by-step instructions in the Resideo app.
